Build something you can take pride in.
Texas Glass Associates is a commercial storefront and glazing contractor serving Central Texas. We install aluminum storefront framing, entrance doors, and glass in commercial buildings, with an emphasis on field-glazed systems, precise workmanship, and professional job-site execution. We are looking for a dependable Commercial Glazier who values quality, safety, teamwork, and personal responsibility.
Our mission is “To bring light into lives and build lasting relationships by creating incredible structures with glass.” Our vision is to build the most trusted commercial glass company in our region, recognized for exceptional craftsmanship, lasting relationships, and the unwavering integrity of our people.
What You Will Do
- Install and anchor aluminum storefront framing, commercial entrance doors, and glass at active construction sites.
- Field-glaze storefront openings; install setting blocks, gaskets, and sealants according to approved details and manufacturer instructions.
- Handle, stage, and protect glass, framing, tools, and finished work; assist with door hardware installation and adjustments.
- Read measurements, follow shop drawings, verify conditions, and raise discrepancies before proceeding.
- Work with a small crew under a Project Lead, contribute to daily production goals, and leave a clean, safe, professional job site.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of commercial glazing, storefront, metal framing, or closely related construction experience.
- Ability to use tape measures, hand tools, and power tools accurately and safely.
- Comfort working at heights, including ladders and lifts, with required training and fall protection.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our Georgetown shop.
- Ability to perform physically demanding installation work, including lifting and maneuvering materials safely with team assistance and appropriate equipment.
- Reliable attendance, willingness to learn, and clear communication with coworkers and supervisors.
What Matters Here
- Do it right the first time: take ownership of quality and correct mistakes rather than passing them along.
- Work safe and work smart: follow procedures, think ahead, and speak up when something is wrong.
- Make the team better: support coworkers, pass along problems promptly, and recognize good work.
- Leave a professional impression: respect customers, other trades, job sites, and company equipment.
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly pay based on demonstrated skills and experience.
- Full-time work with a consistent shop-based daily schedule, typically 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., subject to project needs.
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid time off, and paid holidays, subject to plan and company policies.
- Hands-on training and a defined opportunity to grow into Lead Installer or Project Lead responsibilities.
- A close-knit team that values integrity, dependable performance, and excellent craftsmanship.
