Commercial Glazing Expertise
What to expect from this service.
Texas Glass Associates installs commercial storefront systems for new construction and commercial building projects across Central Texas. Storefront work can combine framing, fixed glass, sidelites and entrance doors in one elevation. TGA coordinates around shop drawings, opening dimensions, anchoring conditions, waterproofing transitions and door operation so the installed work fits the building.
From plans to field installation
Our commercial storefront work starts with understanding the intended openings and surrounding construction. Field conditions matter: slab elevations, steel and masonry tolerances, adjacent waterproofing and finish work can influence how framing is installed. Questions and conflicts are addressed through the project team before they become installed problems.
Field-glazed systems and entrances
TGA emphasizes field glazing: glass is set after storefront framing has been positioned and secured. Installation includes handling and setting glass, fitting appropriate glazing components and sealants, and completing the entrance work within the assigned scope. Doors, hardware and glass have to function as an integrated commercial opening.
Where storefront fits
Storefront systems appear in retail spaces, self-storage facilities, leasing and amenity spaces, offices and other commercial buildings. For larger glazed elevations, explore our curtain wall capability; for existing damaged or failed glass, see our commercial replacement and service page.
